The well-known yellow flowered plant in small gardens is Marigold. Its generic name (Calendula) is derived from the Latin word „Kalendae” which indicated the first day of the month in the Roman calendar. Marigold was said to bloom always on this day.
Cosmetic industry became aware of the successfulness of this plant soon. The most useful active ingredients of Marigold are flavonoides, carotinoids and bitter materials. The valuable phytotherapeutic effect of Marigold rests upon its so-called cytoprotective – cell protecting – property.
The Shampoo regenerates and nourishes the burdened scalp, and so makes the hair healthy. It is mainly suggested for treating dry and flaking scalp.
